Sonja Hatz
Co-Founder
Sonja was born in Germany and grew up in Germany and Peru. She has lived in Lima, Peru and Auckland, New Zealand; has visited more than 50 countries; and is fluent in German, English, French, and Spanish.
Her background includes positions at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts (IHG) and RFR Management GmbH (real estate management), with her most recent position as associate finance and accounting at RFR, where she was in charge of accounts payable and receivable.
As for her academic background, Sonja currently is pursuing her bachelor‘s degree in business administration, and her research interests are in the areas of service excellence, tourism, and sustainability.
In 2018, she co-founded HatzConsult and works as project manager at studyvisory. In addition to this, Sonja also is serving as a voluntary hospitality teacher at Paul Dubrule Hotel and Tourism School in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
